Welcome
to the Inclusion Support Website . This site was
developed to offer support to all
teachers who have diverse learning populations and students who need
accommodations and modifications
in order to access the General
Curriculum. You are faced with a daunting task and my hope is that you
will find the information and resources on this site useful for you and
your students.
If you want to begin browsing, the Site Map is
a good place to start. You can click on the links that are at the top and
bottom of each page to jump to a special area. I've also added a keyword
search that is exclusive to these web pages to help address your specific needs.
Please mail any comments or suggestions and feel free to pass along this URL to
teachers parents and others who may be trying to make life and learning more
palatable for their included kids.
Check out the
"What's New"
page for updated material and new sites. New this month:
US Election and Voting Resources from the National Archives website,
Wrightslaw-a site for parents and
advocates of special needs kids. This comprehensive site includes
glossaries, case law, court decisions, and links to numerous advocacy sites.
Cells Alive has
interactive animation of plant and animals cells. Plus, some good old stuff:
Docuticker:
"a
daily update of new reports from government agencies, ngo’s, think tanks, and
other groups,"
Language Learning Library, a comprehensive guide to learning foreign
languages: Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and
Spanish,
New U.S. Currency, my very own
Online Learning Environment (OLE), Nobel Prize
Winners, Science Netlinks, Congress for Kids, and Library of Congress Lesson
Plans.
"The light heart lives
long." Welcome back.
