AHA!

This is not a hook to catch your eye.  It is the acronym for "Analyzing Human Activities", an Interdisciplinary Model for Integrated Curriculum developed by Dr. T. Roger Taylor.  In his handbook entitled, "Practical Strategies and Classroom Techniques for Gifted and Highly Capable Students: A Differentiated Approach", Dr. Taylor has created a model and materials geared to teaching and reaching all students "by using multiple intelligences, higher- order thinking skills, learning styles/brain research, and an active engagement of our children...".  Along these lines, Dr. Taylor has compiled a list of what he calls "Products for Multiple Intelligences".  There are over 100 ways for a student to demonstrate mastery, capability, and learning.  There are products that target every area in the multiple intelligence hierarchy, something for everyone, for every learning style!  Dr. Taylor espouses the idea that "If it's the best for the best, then it's the best for the rest".  Please think about using some of "the best"  from this list with your kids.
